THE MUPPET SHOW
BOX SEATS:
So if you've ever ordered any muppets figures from Palisades, you've
received it in one of these plain white boxes. Well, I had a ton of these
around and had little use for them so... I took one of the bigger ones, some
paint and red felt and voila... the Muppet Theatre box seats...
MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN
OUTSIDE THE THEATER:
In Series 8 of the Muppets figures, Palisades brought us this
great Scooter figure. I figured he needed to be displayed right. This
"Marquee" wall was done by first drawing the wall on computer as well as
downloading and print so great parody posters. The dirt and texture on the wall
is just simple dry brushing. The marquee boxes are a cardboard frame,
painted black with a large number of white sewing pins (as the lights).
Ok, so this isn't exactly what the outside of the theater looks like in the
movie, but is in fact modeled (loosely) after the theater in which I first saw
"Muppets Take Manhattan". (and - no - I didn't make the posters -
they're miniatures of real parody posters)
MUPPETS TONIGHT
TALES FROM THE VET:
In Series 8 of the Muppets figures, Palisades brought us a
figure of Dr. Phil Van Neuter. I figured since there's a playset for "Muppet
Labs" (Bunsen and Beaker's place) why not one for "Tales from the Vet".
Here's hoping Palisades eventually brings us Lurch - van Neuter's sidekick.
 
MUPPET TREASURE ISLAND
STONE IDOLS:
To go along with my Capt. Smolet figure, etc. from Palisades,
I carved a few of the stone idols from MUPPET TREASURE ISLAND
RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK
IDOL ROOM:
I just had to build a playset to go along with great Adventure Kermit figure from Palisades,
